I heard my new niece's voice for the first time today.

Apparently my nephew walked into a room, saw her naked, and said that she has a weird wee wee.

Today had two nice things.

An orange-red leaf carelessly descending slowly over twenty-five feet of asphalt, with the blue lake far behind.

Georgia and I doing the Monster Mash in the kitchen while listening to Bobby "Boris" Pickett's unsurpassable recording of the classic track.

My second niece was born today.

I love her.

If only that was worth more than it is.

It may have been the fault of bad refereeing but it's still a delight to see Chelsea fail.
